Lakes of Savannah South Development
2000
Developer "Lennar Homes of Texas Land and Construction Ltd., a Texas limited partnership, dba 'Friendswood Development Company'" and COP entered into a Development Agreement. Lakes of Savannah ("North" and "South") was initially developed over 922+/- acres of land, once used for "cattle grazing". Developers 5th amendment to Developers Agreement increases that acreage to 1,279 acres+/-. Lakes of Savannah is in what's considered an ETJ (extra territorial jurisdiction) of the City of Pearland.
2001
Savannah Trace Section 1 subdivision created. 26 more subdivisions followed, totaling 27 platted subdivisions with 1608 lots. First lot was sold in 2002 and 7 commercial properties were developed in years that followed.
2015
Last developer-owned lot sold inside of Lakes of Savannah South. Association went from developer-run to resident-run as required through Association's bylaws created/recorded in 2001.
2019
Fire station built.
2023
MUD 21 and 22 request for Joint 19-acre park plan located within MUD 22 district. COP Agenda Records - 5th Developer/COP Agreement
